With its lush overtone profile, warm low-end frequencies and crisp treble range, the rosewood/spruce tonewood combination has always been a favorite at Taylor. This special-edition Grand Auditorium brings that time-honored pairing to our 300 Series, offering a distinctive tonal flavor in a workmanlike package that will appeal to a wide range of players. Our V-Class interior bracing dials up improved volume, longer sustain and cleaner harmony all the way up the neck, also drawing out more of rosewood’s blooming overtones. A slightly scooped midrange helps this model sit nicely in a mix with vocals or other instruments, making it a great choice for live performance. Appointments for this model include black binding and a matching three-ring rosette, a natural satin finish for the back and sides, a glossy top finish, nickel hardware, a black pickguard, and Gemstone fretboard inlays in Italian acrylic.
