What we say:

At A Glance

From the Inspired by Gibson Collection, the Epiphone Explorer takes the classic model of the 1950s and adds some updated features. This body shape has often been the choice of guitarists looking for a slightly edgier look - Gary Moore and Dave Grohl are a couple of great examples. This affordable choice from Epiphone gives all of the classic vibes but with the added benefits of ProBucker pickups, a Graph Tech nut, quality tuners and a SlimTaper neck. The end result is a great guitar that is a lot of fun to play.

Features We Love:

ProBucker Pickups

With a ProBucker 3 in the bridge and a ProBucker 2 in the neck, the big humbucker tones are full and rich sounding. Huge chords and blistering solos all cut through with ease making it perfect for rock and metal. The clean tones also sound great so more is on offer here than just the heavier side of music.

Graph Tech Nut

Often overlooked, the nut is a very important part of a guitar. It plays a huge role in the overall quality of the instrument due to the constant contact it has with the strings. Graph Tech are known for producing high quality guitar parts and the addition of this nut means that playability, performance and tone are all taken care of.

18:1 Mini Tuners

Featuring an 18:1 ratio, these mini tuners do a great job of getting you in tune quickly and easily. They will do the job of helping to make the process of tuning a painless one.

Highlights:

  • An iconic model at a very affordable price
  • Epiphone brand quality
  • Great features on a classic design
