Raw Series instruments have a minimal, wax body finish giving a naturally smooth feel that will patina over time. They are expertly handcrafted in our California workshop to the high quality standards our reputation is built on. Steel models, like all National steel bodied instruments, have an interior finish to protect against rusting.
The Raw Series instruments feature a hardrock maple neck and a chicken-foot resonator coverplate. 14-Fret models have a peghead and rolled F-holes.
Our Raw Series instruments offer an affordable option to anyone looking to recreate the tone of a vintage National.

Body: 4 out of 5 - Item shows some mild and/or minor signs of use such as superficial swirling or hazing to the finish. There are no substantial dings, dents or scuffs which break the finish.
Neck: 4 out of 5 - The frets are in good order and the instrument plays cleanly and intonates accurately across the fingerboard.
Additional Information: There is some light hazing to the top and faint buckle rash.
This guitar has been restrung with D'Addario strings.
