More than fifty years ago, Charles Kaman brought his idea of a modern guitar to the world market. As an ambitious guitarist, he realised his dream and founded his own guitar company, Ovation Guitars, with a difference. He was inspired by traditional standards but he was also equipped with a pronounced openness towards new technology, which he owed to his roots as a developer and manufacturer of helicopters.

Body: 3 out of 5 - Instrument has been used and shows evidence of its life in the forms of checking, chips and other superficial wear and tear. Metal parts and hardware may be mildly tarnished or stained and cosmetically imperfect.
Neck: 3 out of 5 - The frets have mild wear and/or pitting and may require profiling or replacement in future if the guitar is played extensively, although this work is not required immediately and the guitar plays and frets cleanly at present.
This guitar has been restrung with D'Addario strings.
