Paul Gilbert has been an Ibanez endorsee for many years and his PGM models with their painted on f-holes are instantly recognisable.
This PGM80 model is a great example of what Ibanez have been producing for him over the years. In addition to the aforementioned f-holes graphic, this model boasts some classy hardware: a trio of vintage voiced DiMarzio pickups, a Wilkinson tremolo unit and Gotoh locking machineheads. That's quite a combination, all focused on providing the player with all they need to perform subtle to extravagant guitar parts.
This guitar is a Premium model. Ibanez’s Premium range of guitars are highly spec’d instruments made to exacting standards in Indonesia. These high performance guitars offer quality materials and parts with great attention to detail and represent a lot of guitar for the money. Frets are given a special dressing and necks have fantastically carved profiles. Ibanez Premium guitars are designed and built to be played in studios and on stages, delivering the goods night after night.

Body: 4 out of 5 - Item shows some mild and/or minor signs of use such as superficial swirling or hazing to the finish. There are no substantial dings, dents or scuffs which break the finish.
Neck: 4 out of 5 - The frets are in good order and the instrument plays cleanly and intonates accurately across the fingerboard.
This guitar has been restrung with D'Addario strings.
