EC has a traditional look from ESP USA, but modern specifications. The body with hard maple top and mahogany back, tends to be thick and heavy, but the weight has been reduced by adopting a back cut and setting the body thin in advance, and the handling on stage has been improved dramatically. The pickup is the Metallica James Hetfield model. The bridge is equipped with TonePros® with a locking mechanism, and the tailpiece is equipped with GOTOH 510FA with a locking mechanism. Not only does it transmit the string vibration tightly to the body, but there is no need to worry about the bridge falling off when changing strings.
