Pickups and Electronics

This Tim Commerford bass features a passive circuit that's capable of producing a wide range of punchy tones. With a rotary switch that lets you dial in parallel, single-coil and series tones, plus a gain boost that's accessible via a push volume control, the bass has that signature StingRay tone in a selection of voices.

Height Adjustable Finger Ramp

Unique to the Commerford bass is the height adjustable finger ramp that's built into the pick guard. Tim is one of the best finger players in rock music and he's found that the ramp allows for extra comfort in his preferred hand position. With that said, if it's not for you or you play with a plectrum, the ramp can be completely lowered and blends in with the scratchplate.

Classic Bridge

The bridge features vintage plated saddles and a classic strings-thru design that's key to the guitars resonance and sustain. Plus the adjustable mute pads allow for even more tonal variety.

Sculpted Neck Joint
