Takamine Guitars is pleased to announce the release of the LTD2024 Limited Edition model, already referred to by many as the “Solar System Limited Edition”.
2024 is a leap year, the quadrennial event of re-calibrating our drifting human calendar to the solar system and the inspiration for the LTD2024.
With each of the eight planets delicately positioned on the ebony fretboard, our Earth clearly distinguished by its distinct orbit around the Sun, the LTD2024 encourages the contemplation of our planet’s magnificent journey through space with every note played.
Central to the design is the Sun, stylistically portrayed at the 12th fret as a swirling symbol of lifegiving energy projecting pale hues across the upper bout and lower headstock of the guitar, renewing the term ‘sunburst’ to its truest form.
