The separate construction of the top, back & sides instantly give your guitar a huge resonance compared to a solid body, while the solid maple centre-block cuts down on feedback - a serious problem with hollow-bodied guitars. Combined with the twin humbucker setup, the result is a sound that's more open and softer than a solid body humbucker setup, but still thicker and warmer than a single-coil equipped guitar.
