This guitar also boasts Fender Custom Shop's NOS finish level. Instead of creating the idea of a decades-old instrument, NOS, or New Old Stock, offers what this guitar would have looked like, brand new out the factory, back in the vintage days.

Electronics

This guitar is fitted with a set of Hand-Wound Fat '60s Strat Pickups. These pickups are overwound for increased output and low end punch, which perfectly fits this guitar with its vintage and modern blend of specs. Still with all the crystal clear articulation we expect from a Strat and a powerful midrange that works just as well clean as it does overdriven!

NOS Finish

This guitar's NOS, or New Old Stock finish package is a little different from the Custom Shop's Relic finishes. Relic finishes recreate a guitar from the vintage era that's sat around or been played for the decades in between then and now. NOS, on the other hand, is like a 50s or 60s Fender guitar jumped right out the factory, through a time machine, right to your hand. The result is the closest possible experience to playing a brand new Fender from the days of yore.
