Customer reviews

Overall Rating 4/5 (1 reviews)

The keyboard itself is great - brilliant sound and action. Not thrilled by the accompaniment feature, feels like a waste of space on the keyboard. But fun to have and suppose it pitches well towards beginners. Would like if the buttons were easier to navigate in the dark too. Biggest issue was shipping - despite being ordered at 12:15pm, I was told the order was received after 3:00pm meaning it would be delivered in 2 days, not next day as promised. I see this as GuitarGuitar's fault - either the system or whoever's job it is to process orders through to individual stores. This was a big issue as I was hoping to use the keyboard for a gig in 2 days, and stressed the importance of next day delivery when I visited the store. Not that that mattered - it ended up taking a full week to arrive. My best guest is DPD didn't want to faff about with a massive package in their van so didn't load it, as when it came to my delivery slot 2 days after the order I received a notification through the DPD app telling me I wasn't in when I was in fact waiting by the doorbell! GuitarGuitar told me it was DPD's issue, DPD told me it was their driver's issue and of course I had no recourse to the driver. I just think it is a bit stupid to promise next day delivery when this seems unfeasible for any item inconveniently large - which, as a music shop, tends to be most things. The GuitarGuitar staff offered what help they could over the phone, but this amounted to nothing more than telling me that which I could already see on the DPD app. Disappointing really for a >£700 purchase; not to mention that, even though the FP-E50 comes with a free stand that was out of stock, I still had to pay to get a replacement stand which seems like being cheated out of even more money. In summary, the product is good, the customer service was about as good as it could've been, but the handling and fulfilment of my order was atrocious and I will consider other retailers in the future as a result.
