The Martin 000-16 Streetmaster expands this popular range with a new wood pairing for the Streetmaster. It certainly has the vintage look but how does it do on the sound? The answer is very well! Making use of their proprietary VTS and the usual top-level of craft you'd expect from Martin, you get a guitar that has the classic look and sound but with all the benefits of a newly made instrument.

Wood Choices
Benefitting from an Adirondack spruce top and East Indian rosewood back & sides, this adds a new tonal character to the StreetMaster family. Expect a fuller sound and with the top having the Vintage Tone System you also get that gorgeous decades-old sound right from the beginning.
000 Body Size
The 000 size is otherwise known as the Auditorium size and sits between the 00 and the OM or orchestral size. It has a slightly narrow waist. It’s a size that suits most players because it’s smaller than a dreadnought but still projects and has a full tone.
Martin X-Brace
Martin's X-Brace system dates back almost 200 years, designed to present the perfect balance between reliability and optimised tonal quality, in a guitar that will last a lifetime. The X-Brace design supports the guitar's soundboard without negatively impacting the guitar's natural resonance and character.
