Murphy Lab Finish

Each Murphy Lab guitar is painstakingly aged to look and feel like a guitar you've owned for years. The aging process under Tom Murphy's guidance has taken a leap forward, with the new nitrocellulose lacquer recreating the look of a guitar that has spent years in and out of it's case with it's wood moving to create that authentic checking. The Murphy Lab doesn't stop at giving you an authentically aged finish though, they know exactly how a vintage guitar should feel too. When you pick up this Les Paul you'll notice the rolled fingerboard edges, the rolled binding on the guitar and it'll feel like a guitar you've played your entire life.

Custombucker Alnico 3 Pickups

Living up to the outstanding looks of the instrument is the tone, which is helped out by the tremendous Alnico 3 Custombuckers. Faithfully recreating Vintage PAF style tones these pickups remain clear with a raunchy midrange that you'd expect from the look of this guitar. The bridge humbucker provides plenty of quack while the neck humbucker oozes with a fluid vocal quality that will leave you wanting more.
