Optimised Monitoring
In addition to sounding amazing straight out of the box, they can also be configured and calibrated for you listening space via Genelec's GLM software. This means that if you work in a studio with less than perfect acoustics, the speakers can be celebrated to compensate for resonant frequencies, making it much easier to mix correctly.
ISS Control
To save power and meet European Union ErP directives the speaker automatically powers down to a low power sleep state when not in use and powers back on once it sences your audio playing.
Digital Audio
With standard AES/EBU inputs and outputs you can get prestine interference free audio from your speaker, plus it's extremely easy to work this format into surround sound setups.
