The combination of a mahogany body with an ash top delivers the perfect balance of warmth and punch that gives this bass its commanding tone that's great for rock, but can also smooth out and cut through the mix for jazz and soul music.
Fishman Fluence Pickups
Fishmans Fluence Core technology uses a state of the art design to accurately capture the sound of the bass in 3 classic bass models. Voice 1 delivers a classic fat and round bass tone, Voice 2 gives you a modern full range sound with a wide dynamic range and Voice 3 gives you a scooped funk tone that's perfect for slapping. The pickups can also be split to give you each voice with a more Jazz Bass flavour.
Hipshot Hardware
The combination of the Hipshot TransTone bridge and Ultralite machineheads really bring this bass to the next level. The string through bridge directs the string resonance straight into the grain of the body, promoting tone and sustain, while the lightweight zinc and aluminium tuners offer 20:1 tuning ratio that gives the guitar its improved balance and precision tuning.
