Yairi Quality

The Yairi factory oozes with pride, even the floor is made of mahogany, and the furniture is hand carved by luthiers. This all carries over into each and every single guitar that comes out of the factory. Necks are spoke shaved by hand, braces are carefully shaped by hand, and when brought together every single detail is fussed over. The Yairi guitars along with master luthier Kazuo Yairi are where it starts for Alvarez and the passion for quality can be felt in every aspect of these guitars.

Direct Coupled Bridge

You'll notice on most Alvarez guitars the interesting bridge design. This is the main design from the head of the yairi line, Kazuo Yairi. Separating the bridge into two pieces and mounting the bridge pins at a lower height increases the string tension over the saddle. This increases the response and sound projection of the guitar. This unique bridge design gives Alvarez a sound of their own.

Electronics

LR Baggs' powerful tone shaping Stage Pro EQ system is coupled with their innovative Element pickups. Which reproduces the vibration of your guitar's top to pick up its most subtle nuances. This pairing gives you a guitar that sounds amazing plugged in, straight out the box!
