Home to some of the most talented luthiers in the world, Fender Custom Shop has been producing incredible instruments since they first opened back in 1987. With a wealth of knowledge and skill all under one roof, each one is instilled with some of that Custom Shop magic.

Electronics

This is one tonally versatile beast of a bass. The Hand-Wound Vintage Jazz Bass Pickups deliver all the trademark snarl and honk the jazz bass can produce, with loads of thump coming from the neck pickup and snarling definition coming from the bridge. The stacked concentric pots, giving you an independent Volume and Tone for each pickup, really let you tune in your tone to an unbelievable degree.

Relic Finish

This bass's Relic finish completely evokes the idea of an instrument that's been heavily played but well taken care of over the decades. Taken out regularly for some serious sessions and gigs and put back in its case at the end of the night. The result is the eggshell-cracking to the finish, the wear and tear around the forearm bevel and that unmistakable fingerboard patina that's the sign of a real workhorse.
