What we say:
At A Glance
The Spector Euro 4LX EMG Black and Blue Matte is all about providing the best instrument possible. Spector is one of the top names for bassists who want to go the extra mile. The Euro 4LX EMG allows you to do just that thanks to its excellent set of features. Its neck-through construction with graphite rods make it ideal for touring and the carved body lends itself well to extended performances. The USA Figured Maple top keeps it looking classy so you can back up those great tones with an admirable aesthetic too.
Features We Love:
Active EMG P/J Pickups
This pickup combination is a great example of traditional influence being updated for modern needs. This P/J set clearly captures every aspect of your playing without any unwanted noise. Making it possible to perform slap funk style playing one minute then growling low-end metal the next!
Spector TonePump Preamp
Included as stock in the Euro LX basses is Spector's Tone Pump active tone circuit. You'll have no problems being heard, with the powerful shaping capabilities of the Gain pot which can add up to 12dB, and the Bass and Treble controls each offering up to a 14dB boost or 12dB cut at the most important frequencies.
Premium on Every Level
Spector always pays attention to detail when it comes to craft. They have done so here, producing an instrument fit for the top-level pro bassist. Not only has it been crafted superbly but it features hardware designed to go the distance such as the Aluminum Locking bridge and Brass nut.
Who Is It For?
The professional bassist who needs a premium instrument to keep up with their playing. It excels across all styles so would be well suited to a session musician or those who regularly move between genres.
Highlights:
- Well suited to the pro-level bassist
- Crafted to a very high level of excellence
- Performs equally well across all music styles
