Active Custom Pickups

The Squier SQR™ ceramic humbucker and split singlecoil pickup set and custom controls are key to this guitars impressive sound. The active pickups offer a controlled and detailed sound that can be dialled up for punchy rock and metal tones, but also deliver great pronounced jass style tones. The custom set of controls features a master volume and tone, a blend control and stacked boost controls for bass and treble, giving you the ability to dial in a huge range of awesome tones across many styles of music.

Roasted Maple is loved for its incredible stability, impressive tone and fluid feel as you work your way up the neck. With strong resistance to changes in humidity and temperature, the guitar offers excellent tuning stability. Finally, the sculpted heel joint allows for comfortable access to the highest frets.
