635JM Neck Carve

A key component that contributes hugely to the effortless playability of the SE John Mayer Silver Sky is the original shape neck carve. It takes its inspiration from vintage guitars and is joined by the 8.5" radius fretboard. This slightly larger radius (compared to the 7.25" of its sibling) actually allows for an easier setup. Together, these features form a trouble-free playing surface that maintains a classic feel and allows for easy chording and upper neck bends.

635JM "S" Pickups

It is an important part of the guitar's tone and although the 2 point is different to the 6 screw tremolo of its original counterpart, the tremolo performs smoothly and efficiently, meaning vibrato use is easy to control and reliable too.
