Seymour Duncan Hyperion Pickups

The AZ42P1 is rigged with the Seymour Duncan Hyperion HH pickup set, featuring moderate output through Alnico-5 magnets to ensure a clear pick attack and fundamental tone, even when using loads of gain. These pickups are paired with Ibanez's dyna-MIX 10 switching system with Alter Switch. In position 1, the selector gives you a 5-way HH pickup selection profile. In position 2, the humbuckers are Power Tapped to deliver a lower, more singlecoil-esque output level and tone, without removing the hum-cancelling capabilities. In total, you have 10 unique sound options.

Body Contouring

This guitar's back and forearm contours make the guitar fit the body closely for maximum playing comfort, while the differing radii on each body curve ensures this guitar plays just as well sitting down or standing up.
