The AZ427P1PB is rigged with the Seymour Duncan Hyperion 7 HH pickup set, featuring moderate output through Alnico-5 magnets to ensure a clear pick attack and fundamental tone, even when using loads of gain. These pickups are paired with Ibanez's dyna-MIX 10 switching system with Alter Switch. In position 1, the selector gives you a 5-way HH pickup selection profile. In position 2, the humbuckers are Power Tapped to deliver a lower, more singlecoil-esque output level and tone, without removing the hum-cancelling capabilities. In total, you have 10 unique sound options.
