What we say:

At A Glance

The Fender Custom Shop 52 Telecaster Journeyman Relic in Aged Nocaster Blonde is the stunning recreation of an absolutely timeless legend in the history of electric guitars. A Telecaster with a Maple neck, Black pickguard and that gorgeous, creamy Butterscotch Yellow finish - it's like everything an electric guitar needs to be.

Being from the Fender Custom Shop, this guitar is built to a stunning standard boasting some outstanding features like the Hand-Wound '50 - '51 Blackguard Tele Singlecoil pickup set that deliver those fantastic, twangy tones of the wild-west days of electric the guitar. No museum piece though, this 52 Tele boasts a superb quality neck with a 57 style Soft "V" carve that sits comfortably in the hand, and 7.25" to 9.5" compound radius fingerboard that facilitates comfortable lower end chord work and high end lead work and bends without 'fretting out'

Features We Love:

Custom Shop Built

Home to some of the most talented luthiers in the world, Fender Custom Shop has been producing incredible guitars since they first opened back in 1987. With a wealth of knowledge and skill all under one roof, each guitar is instilled with some of that Custom Shop magic.

Recreation of A Classic

A Butterscotch Yellow, Blackguard Tele with a Maple neck is a truly iconic look for a guitar, and this Fender Custom Shop model lives up to that legend. The Hand-Wound '50 - '51 Blackguard Tele® Singlecoil pickup set delivers the classic tones of the era with punchy lows, fat mids and crisp highs, further aided by the '51-'54 Tele Bridge with Brass Barrel Saddles for superb sustain.

Journeyman Relic

This guitar's Journeyman Relic Aged finish completely evokes the idea of an instrument that's been well played but well taken care of over the decades. Taken out regularly for some serious sessions and gigs, but wiped down and put back in its case at the end of the night. The result is a guitar that looks and feels like a real workhorse but is built with the best quality modern luthiers have to offer.

Who Is It For?

The player looking for a stunning recreation of a heavily used, played in icon from the early days of the electric guitar.

Highlights:

  • The Butterscotch Blackguard Telecaster is an iconic look
  • Fender Custom Shop Quality
  • Stunning Journeyman Relic finish
