What we say:
At A Glance:
The BOSS FZ-1W Fuzz from the superb Boss Wazacraft series has everything you need for vintage and modern fuzz tones in a compact package.
With the FZ-1W, BOSS wanted to capture the retro sound and vibe of vintage 60s era Fuzz pedals. After deep analysis of some of the best, they delivered an aggressive, dynamic tone not unlike the classics with the ability to switch on the fly to a fatter more Modern tone.
Built in Japan to exacting detail using premium components the FZ-1W features versatile controls and the ability to effortlessly switch between "Vintage" and "Modern" modes with it's mini toggle. The silicon transistor circuitry keeps the tone consistent and a high quality buffer finishes off the output so your tone is as strong as ever.
Features We Love:
Made In Japan
Seeing this on any product is always a sign of quality. Passionate work ethic, and a meticulous eye for design and detail are what make up Japanese quality. Boss have kept things close to home with this Japanese pedal to ensure quality and consistency for every customer.
Vintage/Modern Toggle
Why settle for one style when you can have both? Boss have taken their knowledge and analysis of many legendary pedals and used it to create a vintage tone that can recreate many classic sounds reminiscent of the 1960s.
With an aggressive, dynamic, touch responsive tone it'll be hard to get away from the Vintage mode. But for when you want to let loose switching to modern will provide you with that fatter, more mid focused sound that has become so popular with modern players.
High Quality Buffer
Not looking to detract from your tone in anyway, Boss have made sure this pedal comes complete with a high quality buffer. Even when the pedal is not in use it's making sure your tone is as strong as possible as it runs through your signal chain.
