What we say:

At A Glance:

The Universal Audio Volt 276 is a desktop USB Audio Interface that offers studio quality sound at an affordable price. This 2-in/2-out interface boasts great features like analog compression and a Vintage Mic Preamp mode for both inputs, plus MIDI connectivity and an outstanding selection of software that offers professional tones and processing.

If you're looking for a powerful compact two channel interface that is compatible with Windows, Mac and iOS, plus some unique features and professional sound, this is the one for you!

Features We Love:

Two-Channel Interface

The Volt 276 features two inputs that are suitable for microphones and instruments. It's easy to record a performance with a vocal and guitar, a stereo signal from a keyboard or even two microphones for a podcast.

Analog Compression

The built-in analog compression really raises the bar on what should be expected from an audio interface. Inspired by the classic Universal Audio 1176 Limiting Amplifier, the 76 compressor sounds as good as it is easy to use!

Vintage Mic Preamp Mode

Unique to the Volt, the Vintage Mic Preamp mode emulates the sound and characteristics of the vintage Universal Audio 610 tube preamp. Activating this mode gives each input the authentic sound of this classic preamp that's lent many iconic records its signature rich and velvety tone.

Included Software

The included software not only gets you recording straight out of the box, plugins like the Softube Time & Tone bundle and Marshall Plexi Classic Amp, plus Celemony Melodyne Essential are a step above the rest, letting you produce and mix to a professional level.

Studio Quality Headphone Amplifier

The studio-quality headphone pre-amp gives you crystal clear audio which is ideal for transparent reference mixing.

iOS Compatible

Volt is compatible with iOS, using the relevant connection kit, recording direct to your iPhone or iPad has never sounded so good!

Highlights:

  • Record two channels simultaneously
  • Ideal for podcasting, home recording and gigging musicians
  • Analog compression achieves a smooth consistent recording
  • Vintage Mic Preamp mode gives you authentic analog sound
  • Premium bundled software
