The Alvarez Yairi CYM75CE Masterworks Classical in Natural Gloss is a passionately hand crafted guitar from Japan. The Yairi line, named after master luthier Kazuo Yairi, is built in the small Japanese town of Kani by a team of passionate and experienced luthiers. Alvarez have been producing classical style guitars since the 1960's, this has allowed them to develop and design some of the best sounding guitars you can buy today.

Quality Seasoned Tonewood

With years of experience behind them the luthiers at the Yairi factory have found that tonewood works and sounds best when it's been seasoned naturally for 5-15 years. So you know when you pick up your Yairi the wood has spent a great deal of time seasoning naturally in the beautiful climate of Kani.

Hand Built

A phrase that is used less and less often in this day and age, the Alvarez Yairi line sticks to tradition with every guitar being hand crafted by passionate luthiers. With Hand carved necks, carefully shaved bracings and passionately tuned tops.

LR Baggs Electronics

It's only fair that a guitar of this quality features some of the best electronics around, which is exactly why the CYM75CE is fitted with the LR Baggs VTC pickup system. In an effort to combat some common acoustic pickup problems the VTC the string attack to compress it's sensors, instead it aims to draw it's tone directly from the soundboard. The result is a natural sounding pickup that rejects string attack to reduce the common "quacking" sound found with other acoustic pickup systems.
