What we say:

At A Glance:

The Jackson X Series Dinky Arch Top DKAF8 Fan Fret Stained Mahogany is an extremely proficient 8-String shredding machine. With fanned frets, a compound radius fingerboard and some seriously savage humbuckers, you would be forgiven for thinking that this monster would cost you an arm and a leg, think again. At an extremely generous price point, we have a signature Jackson design, modified for serious technical 8-String shredding.

Features We Love:

Killer Tone

This 8 String behemoth has a sound that mirrors it's menacing appearance. With a set of Jackson Uncovered 8-String Blade Humbuckers, Mahogany Body and Rosewood Fingerboard, you have a guitar that has a powerful, red-hot tone capable of putting out earthshaking lows and searing, blistering leads.

Multi-Scale Fingerboard

With a fanned fret, multi-scaled fingerboard you have a guitar that feels so much more ergonomic to play. Typically found on 7 and 8 stringed guitars, not only do they feel more comfortable for the wrist, but they improve the overall string tension, allowing for better sound and playability.

Jackson Build

When it comes to building shredding machines, few know it better than Jackson Guitars. They've been building top-notch guitars since 1980, growing alongside the Heavy Metal titans of that Golden Era. You know when you buy a Jackson Guitar, you're buying a guitar that's built for serious heavy metal playing.

Highlights:

  • Exceptional Build
  • Mind-Blowing Tone
  • Comfortable to Play
