Designed in conjunction with the Strummer estate, the Joe Strummer Campfire pays homage to the Clash's articulate and fiery co-founder, lyricist, rhythm guitarist and lead singer. All his life, he vigorously championed individuality, self-expression and change, and firmly believed in the power of community. Inspired by the legendary campfires that Strummer held backstage at the Glastonbury festival, this small-body acoustic-electric is the perfect companion for gatherings of any size.

Featuring a solid spruce top with mahogany back and sides, the Campfire reflects Strummer’s aesthetic with its matte black finish, nickel hardware, and star inlays. 40 years after the Clash’s iconic album, London Calling, was released in the United States, the legacy of Joe Strummer continues to live on, grow louder, and shake up the establishment.

My first acoustic, so I don't have a benchmark to measure against. But I love the 'Joe Strummer' stars on the fretboard and the look of the guitar. I'm glad that I went for an electro-acoustic as the built-in tuner is handy.
