The Jason Isbell Telecaster from Fender in Chocolate Burst is a truly excellent signature guitar. Jason is an extremely hard working musician who has performed for many years as both a solo artist and with his band The 400 Unit. Prior to that he was a prolific member of the Drive-By Truckers. Needless to say, this Grammy Award winning artist and forerunner of the Americana movement knows what makes a Telecaster great. In this model, we have the essence of what makes a Tele so great but with the added benefit of Jason's custom pickups and a great feeling neck carve. A hugely underrated guitarist, Isbell can sure tear it up when he wants to and he made sure this model is capable of doing that too.

Custom Jason Isbell Pickups
These specially voiced Telecaster single-coils provide clarity, chime and the signature tele twang. They work just as well clean as they do when driving an amp into distortion. As any fan of Jason knows, his versatile catalogue of music requires pickups that can cover it all and these are certainly capable of that job.
Chocolate Burst
The gorgeous Chocolate Burst colour tones make for a very good looking Tele. Partnered with a Road Worn finish and offset by cream double-binding, this is about as good as a Telecaster can look!
Mid '60s "C" Neck
Having several vintage guitars in his arsenal, it's safe to say that Isbell knows a good neck when he feels it. The carve on this one sits very comfortably in the hand and offers ample support when playing both lead and rhythm passages.
