What we say:

At A Glance:

This Custom Dreadnought with Adirondack spruce top and sinker mahogany back, sides and neck has been made with our own hand-selected choice of woods from Martin's Custom Shop selection, ensuring these are of exceptional quality from aesthetics to tone.

At guitarguitar we always try to work as closely with our brands as possible, and in this case we had the unique opportunity to visit the Martin factory in Nazareth Pennsylvania and spec out our own Custom Shop models.

Whether you are a collector or are looking for a fantastic sounding boutique acoustic, this model will give you the most exceptional Martin quality available in a special guitarguitar spec'd package.

Features We Love:

Hand-Selected Woods

Constructed from very unique woods with incredible grain and excellent tonal properties, we wanted to make sure that our Custom orders were going to be exceptional in every way.

Sinker wood is taken from logs that have been submerged in swamps or rivers for sometimes up to a century! These logs were from Belize, and have been traced back in documents to at least the 1930s.

These ancient logs drink up all of the river’s nutrients and become very dense. The ensuing sound is especially rich and detailed. Visually, we picked the most visually striking examples of mahogany to make the bodies of these guitars really stand out.

Unique Acoustics

We are proud to present these incredible, rare Martin acoustic guitars to you. They are some of the finest in the world.

Each has been hand-picked by us, hand-made by Martin’s Custom Shop and hand-Signed by Chris Martin himself.

Custom Shop Build

Martin has poured its highest quality workmanship into this instrument, from the specially selected woods, to the construction and meticulous details.

You know you are getting an instrument that not only looks absolutely gorgeous, but also sounds and plays like a dream.

Highlights:

  • Hand-Selected Custom Shop woods for a striking visual appearance, and fantastic tonal quality
  • Martin Custom Shop build quality makes this one of the finest acoustics you can buy
  • Each one is unique and has been hand-signed by Chris Martin himself!
