Dingwall's NG3 bass is designed in conjunction with producer, low end master and former Periphery bassist Adam "Nolly" Getgood. The NG-3 takes the existing Combustion model and adds a few choice features like a carbon-fibre print pickguard, racing inspired finish options, and a stunning Darkglass Tone Capsule pre-amp!

The multi scale construction ensures maximum tonal and tuning accuracy right across the fretboard, while the powerful electronics and stunning build make it a dream to play for any style, from aggressive technical metal, to solid pocket grooves and tight pop lines.

Top drawer components like the individually mounted and adjustable saddles ensure maximum tonal transfer, while the lightweight body, perfect weight-balance and comfortable neck makes long playing sessions a breeze.

Multi Scale Fretboard

Extended range basses in particular benefit so much from the addition of the fanned fret, multi-scale system, and Dingwall are among the best in the game. The combination of the long scale low strings and shorter highs ensure consistent, comfortable string tension across the neck, and as a result, a solid surety of tone from the bottom to the top.

Electronics

Dingwall's stunning FD-3N pickups are custom designed, with a high output for maximum versatility with the punch for a smooth and aggressive tone when needed. The inclusion of the Darkglass Tone Capsule preamp expands the sonic possibilities of the great sounding pickups by adding a dedicated Bass and two Mid controls. The result is a pre-amp circuit that allows you to fine tune your tone to cut through a mix whilst retaining an impressive low end.

Dingwall Customised Hardware

Dingwall took a look at existing hardware on the market and adjusted their own designs to achieve something they truly approved of for this bass. The Open Back Tuners are seriously lightweight while extremely reliable with superbly smooth function for precise tuning. The bridge features an individual mounting for each string to minimise interference from one string to the next, while the highly adjustable saddles ensure maximum precision in action and intonation.
