Yamaha THR10II Combo Modelling Amp

Excellent practice amp, very lightweight and user friendly.

Been after a decent all rounder practice amp for home studio use and this little Yamaha box is spot on. It connected straightwayy to bluetooth so I could play along to backing track from my phone, it has a tuner so the guitars easy to keep sounding right. The sounds are warm and realistic. I love the 'crunch' setting, you can roll up the gain and master and down the output, and then use the guitar volume to get that perfect AC30 brit honk out of strat or tele, and when you plug in Les paul it sings and sustains. Effects are cute too. Like I said does everything and keeps life easy.

Best home practice amp, not too loud and has a variety of effects

Sounds so big from something so small, the controls make it feel like a regular larger amp rather than a toy town practice amp with lack lustre EQ.

All the on line reviews of the Yamaha Amp were positive - which is always a good start,,, I needed a new practice amp for home use, and thought I'd give the Yamaha a go. Fabulous little Amp, loud enough to please my ageing ears without upsetting my significant other, the dog or the neighbours!! Fantastic quality and range of tones and effects which I'm still fiddling with - out of the box it is a great looking desktop Amp, versatile, with a clarity of voice and ease of use that I have found refreshing and engaging. Highly recommended Amp.

The amp has great tone. I read a lot of reviews about a lot of amps and the THR10ii lives up to the great descriptions I read. Particularly good as a Bluetooth player so that I can play the backing alongside my guitar

Really happy with this. Amazing sound quality at low volumes. It's perfect for a desktop practice amp in a home studio setup. Lets me play around with a bunch of different tones without worrying about annoying my neighbours. And it's got that "no fuss" Yamaha build quality - the quality control on their gear is top notch.

Great amplifier with amazing sound. Perfect for home use

Not the amp you'd buy if you were playing the O2, but in a very small home office, guitar room ,recording area, it's magic....desk top amp takes up no room, sounds great ,plugs into Garage band vie the Phones socket, does everything I want.

Simple to use, great range of sounds. App to further modify sounds is a bonus (remember to switch phone location on to make it connect to the amp!). Haven't used the free cubase yet but delighted it's included.

Seems good up to now. The Yamaha THRs always seem to sound good, which is why I bought this one.

Great sounding amp. Amazing for jamming to backing tracks and songs through the Bluetooth. I just use clean and crunch, honestly sounds great. The remote app works well, however you need location GPA on for some reason. Yamaha should change this to conserve battery on out phones.

Great practice amp - though it is small, it doesn't sound small. Lots of modelling options to shape the tone. The smartphone app works smoothly and offers further customisability: Different cabinets, compressor, noise gate etc. It's a huge step up from my previous roland micro cube gx.

Only an hour in to playing but oh my is it well worth it. The companion app takes it to the next level too. Plenty loud for the home. No regretting not buying wireless version this is perfect for at home. Even handle my bass well enough too. Don?t hesitate just get it! Great little amp with tons of flexibility. Haven?t yet tried recording with it but otherwise a great piece of kit.

Fantastic. Loved the tones straight out of the box and even works really well as a bluetooth speaker. Once I got set up with the presets and tweaking the settings it has been wonderful.

Amp is perfect for low volume playing and works well with the presets from iPhone but software needs to be updated by Yamaha as it give a security warning when run on last version of Mac OS. From speaking to support I'm sure this will come and overall a great and would recommend.

Use this primarily for recording via usb. Results are fantastic and the fact the audio interface on it is class compliant means it'll never go out of date when operating systems update (are you listening Roland)
