What we say:

At A Glance:

The Gibson Explorer Antique Natural is a stunning take on one of Gibson's iconic alternative body styles. The Godfather of all hard Rock and Metal guitar shapes, the Gibson Explorer brought with it an entirely new concept in guitar manufacturing, opening doors for the guitar world that nobody had before.

Made from solid mahogany, the body and neck offer the well known thick and sustaining sound so many look for in a guitar. The neck has been carved into Gibson's 'Slim Taper' shape ensures it will sit comfortably in most hands.

Fitted with Burstbucker pickups, Graph Tech nut, and mini Grover tuners, the full package is brought together as a whole, delivering an exceptional guitar!

Features We Love:

A Real Trailblazer

The Gibson Explorer was one of the first guitars to employ such drastically different looks from so many other models, creating a new path for manufacturers across the globe. Of course, today there are seemingly infinite body shapes, but the Explorer was the one who started this trend and today still stands as a prominent figure.

Solid Mahogany Construction

The solid mahogany body and neck give this guitar great sustain and a solid construction for the sound of the guitar to resonate from. Big bends and huge chords have never sounded, or looked, better!

Natural Finish

Coated in Natural Nitrocellulose gloss lacquer, the grain and texture is shown in its full glory giving this model a beautiful finish, further adding to the overall grandeur of this instrument!

Highlights:

  • The first of its kind, the Explorer brought with it an entirely new outlook for guitar manufacturers
  • A solid construction that will take your playing to the next level
  • A natural beauty, no fancy finish needed!
