What we say:

At A Glance:

EastCoast bring instruments of quality and style to every musician in an affordable package. The M1S has an excellent set of specs at this price point. Such as a solid spruce top, while also being a smaller body size making it easier to play and travel with!

Features We Love:

Mini Body Shape

Perfect for travelling with, but still able to provide great sound, projection and playability.

Solid Top

The M1S sports laminate Walnut Back & Sides, providing a reliable and robust construction that stands up to the rigours of the road, paired with a Solid Spruce Top to deliver great tone and superb projection

Satin Finish

A slick satin finish covers this guitar, giving you a great feeling instrument from body to neck.

Pros:

  • A smaller bodied guitar with a solid top gives you great tone coupled with playability in one affordable package.
  • Detailed appointments such as the abalone rosette add a boutique touch.

Customer reviews

Overall Rating 4.7/5 (3 reviews)

Lovely looking instrument. As the blurb says : solid spruce front, Attractive walnut back and ribs, lacking a little bass but for a parlour sized guitar (what can you expect?) nice, resonant ring to the sound however. Sadly, I had to return after a couple of weeks as I found the spacing round the nut end of the fingerboard a little pinched for my fat fingers and playing style. But I repeat a very attractive instrument (better looking than many at twice the price) and very acceptable sound at this price point

I?m sure that a good guitarist would point out it isn?t as good as, say, the Taylor mini but at this price, I can?t complain. Whether I?ll actually travel with it remains to be seen; most of my bad playing is in the privacy of my own home!
