This is certainly a very charismatic guitar indeed!

This model is based on the historic SG from 1961. Noted for having a smaller pickguard and also a slimmer, narrower neck, this guitar is set up to be comfortable to play whilst still offering everything you'd expect from an SG.

Attractive as much as it is useful, the Sideways Vibrola unit is a great addition to this model and provides a whole new chapter of sounds and textures to be created with this classy piece of kit!

Slim Taper Neck Profile

The neck profile of a guitar is greatly important to how it feels when playing. The Slim Taper shape on this model offers comfort for the player and gives access to the higher frets allowing you to reach all the way to the top of the fretboard when you're rocking out! However, this is a Gibson after all, although named 'Slim Taper' there is still plenty to grab on to.

The 60s Burstbucker pickups selected for this model offer heat and sizzle. With this guitar you'll be suited to playing Blues, crunchy Rock, and great sustained leads. It sounds wonderful!

Sideways Vibrola

This large chromed tailpiece is a thing of beauty! In practical use, the Vibrola proves itself a useful tool allowing a few semitones' worth of vibrato to add colour and texture to your playing. As the name would suggest, it is operated by pushing the bar across the face of the guitar rather than up and down toward the body.
