The LTD Iron Cross is a Signature Series model of James Hetfield, the frontman of Metallica and one of the world's most highly respected rhythm guitar players in any genre. The Iron Cross is based on James' personal custom instrument design, and features set-neck construction of a mahogany body with maple cap, and a three-piece mahogany neck with ebony fingerboard and 22 extra-jumbo frets with an Iron Cross inlay at the 12th fret. The LTD Iron Cross is powered by James' own EMG JH SET active pickups, and includes a TonePros locking TOM bridge and tailpiece

Seamless purchase from GuitarGuitar. The guys on the web chat were brilliant as they were able to match price with another retailer and provide a quote where I made my purchase on their website with ease. After I made my purchase on a Tuesday, my order arrived first thing in the morning of Wednesday! Talking about express delivery at its best! The guitar itself is amazing. Best guitar I've ever laid my hands on by a mile. It came with its hard case and has some amazing features ie locking tuners, ebony fingerboard, EMG JH set etc. The action feels exactly as I would calibrate it and didn't need any intonation for an Eb tuning whatsoever. It feels great to play! Its lightweight frame feels amazing and the sustain on higher notes is out of this world. I've already used it three times on gigs and I can say with certainty that it will be my main guitar from now on! A very happy customer overall.
