What we say:
At A Glance:
The Presonus Faderport MKII DAW Controller has been designed to maximise your workflow. Bringing a hands on approach to the DAW experience, the Faderport features a precise motorised fader, transport and navigation controls and the ability to edit plugins and other parameters without having to reach for the mouse. Faderport MKII is optimised for Studio One and Ableton Live and is bundled with a huge selection of software. If you're looking to bring an analog style experience to your DAW or just increase your workflow with a hands on approach, you're going to love the Faderport MKII .
Features We Love:
Motorised Fader
Creating, tweaking and recalling a mix is incredibly fast using the Faderport. The Motorised fader follows automation points of your selected track just like a professional studio desk does and instantly jump to the correct points as you tab across each track in your session. The fader is incredibly detailed and allows you to record your movements onto the automation tracks with precision.
Take Control
With dedicated Session Navigator controls, the Faderport will massively improve your workflow. No longer will you have to take time to find the record button using your mouse, there's a big button for it on the front panel. Controlling playback and toggling on and off the loop function are now completely effortless. The multifunction encoder will make you wonder how you lived without it, giving you the ability to quickly scroll through your timeline, zoom in and out, navigate and drop markers and much much more.
Studio One and Ableton Live Integration
Faderport is pre-mapped and optimised for use with Ableton Live and Studio One, which means as soon as you plug it in and set it as a controller you're good to go. Every control is automatically mapped, meaning you can get recording and mixing straight away.
DAW Compatibility
Faderport is also compatible with Logic Pro X, Cubase and Pro Tool svia the Mackie Control and HUI protocols. Meaning you can still take full control of the Faderport with your DAW of choice, but will need to map the parameters for your session.
Studio One Artist
The Presonus Studio One Artist DAW music package is included to get you recording straight out of the box. Studio One is loved for its easy to understand drag and drop user interface, and offers unlimited audio and instrument tracks, plus a great selection of effects, virtual instruments and powerful composition and editing tools.
