With Custom Shop craft you can expect Custom Shop pickups and these single coils certainly keep up with Dale Wilson's expert craft. The '58 pickups sit between the early 50's pickups and the 60's which some find to be the perfect sweet spot! Still with all the Tele twang and bite we love but without that early harshness.

Masterbuilt by Dale Wilson

Dale has been a Master Builder since 2011 after arriving at Fender in 2003. Prior to joining Fender, he also worked at Dobro and Rickenbacker which gave him a wide range of experience. His high quality of work can clearly be seen in the design of this guitar. It brings together a great mix of classic looks and modern sensibilities. Fender Custom Shop guitars such as this make you realise that it is worth paying a bit more to get something that really stands above a lot of other guitars at a similar price point.
