Roland's SuperNATURAL technology uses a combination of sampled and synthesized tones to create the most realistic digital piano sound available. Unlike other sample-based digital pianos, the FP-10 builds on the high-quality sounds sampled from the finest pianos with synthesized tones which recreate the natural nuances of an acoustic piano. Qualities like how all of the notes will quietly resonate during playing when the damper pedal is pressed, hammer noise and resonant noise when the hammer rests on a string to mute it are all used to create a virtual piano experience that sounds vibrant and alive
The Keys
While other keyboards in this price range feature shiny plastic keys, the FP-10 boasts a premium satin finished keyboard. With a fully weighted 88 note key-bed, it feels just like an acoustic piano and the satin keys will never feel slippy under your fingers even after long periods of playing.
Bluetooth
Unlike some other options in it’s price range, the FP-10 also features Bluetooth MIDI. This works seamlessly with Roland’s Piano Partner 2 app for both iOS and Android devices. You can also use this with other apps such as Garageband. This is an excellent feature for practicing, or laying down your musical ideas.
