As we say, this model is anything but standard. It's packed full of custom features such as European flamed maple binding, gold frets, gold open-gear tuners, and a unique 1930s style logo inlaid in pearl on the headstock.
Vintage Tone System
The Vintage Tone System from Martin uses a unique recipe that has been based on historic torrefaction systems. VTS is much like a time machine in that Martin craftsmen and craftswomen are able to target specific visual aesthetics and possibly more importantly, reproduce specific tones from revered vintage models and apply them to new ones.
Martin X-Brace
Martin's X-Brace system dates back almost 200 years, designed to present the perfect balance between reliability and optimised tonal quality, in a guitar that will last a lifetime. The X-Brace design supports the guitar's soundboard without negatively impacting the guitars natural resonance and character.
