Hagstrom guitars all feature a patented H-Expander truss rod for supreme stability. They also use patented ‘Resinator’ fingerboards which are made form a composite material that feels similar to Ebony. The necks are real selling points for Hagstrom: it is a supreme pleasure to play these! They feel slick, solid and comfortable, just as they should.

The Ultra Swede is a stylish and fast single cut solidbody model. Full of power and style, the Ultra Swede is a great choice for rock players. This beautiful guitar is for left-handed players.

The Single cut body is perhaps slightly smaller than expected, contoured and bound for a beautiful look. The body itself is Basswood with a Maple cap (Flamed in this case!) and finished here in Cosmic Black Burst.

The set neck is also from Mahogany and is one of Hagstrom’s famous D-profile ‘Ultrathin’ necks, known to be amongst the most comfortable in the business! The 15” radius fingerboard has attractive abalone and pearl inlays.

This Ultra Swede has a pair of custom 62 pickups. These are ceramic humbuckers with plenty of hot output and a coil tap switch to temper some of that Rock aggression! Thick, sustaining tones come easily and beautifully from this instrument.
