Manufacturer's ID: VE-500
What we say:
At A Glance:
The BOSS VE-500 Vocal Performer is a professional grade vocal multi-effects unit tailored specifically for performing singers. With a powerful DSP engine that's capable of running up to nine effects simultaneously, the VE-500 features looping, automatic harmonising, pitch correction, vocoding plus beautiful reverbs, delays and other studio effects, all of which can be customised into your preferred signal chain.
Features We Love:
In Harmony
The VE-500 features powerful vocal harmonising. By running your guitar through the pedal, the VE-500 is able to listen to your chord changes and move the harmony vocals into the correct key. The harmony key can also be controlled via MIDI from a keyboard or backing track.
Pitch Perfect
Working in a similar fashion to the harmoniser, the VE-500 will follow the key of your music either via guitar or MIDI to ensure your vocals are bang on pitch and sound produced. The pitch correction feature can be used subtly for a transparent correction or heavily for a modern pop vocal.
Ninety-Nine
The VE-500 features a huge amount of effects and tools which can be combined to create custom patches for your music. To take full advantage of this, the VE-500 features space for 99 user patches, so you can create and recall multiple tones for each of your songs.
