Peterson StroboClip HD

Excellent device for supreme tuning performance. Bought it to perfectly tune various 12 string guitars and this is far superior to standard tuners. Obviously at a higher price. Dispatched quickly.

I've had many tuners over my many years of playing guitars, but after buying the Peterson StroboStomp Mini and now the Peterson StroboClip HD (Great for my non pickup Acoustic guitars) what a great difference in the setup of the intonation these tuners have made to all my guitars. Some only needed very slight adjustments and others more of a reset, but even with the ones needing only slight adjustments its made a huge difference to the tuning and overall setup of all the guitars. They 'ring' resonate' really great now all over the neck, i.e chords/arpeggios, with far better harmonics, stable tuning and even the resonance is noticeably far better. I wouldn't have believed it before, but I do now. If you do setups on your own guitars intonation, buy one now, I guarantee it makes a huge pro upgrade to them. Even some of what I thought were my 'Mediocre' guitars I have, are now alive with great tuning. I am now saving to buy the Peterson StroboPlus HDC for my guitar setup work bench. The StroboStomp Mini will be permanently on my effects board, and the Peterson StroboClip HD will be a constant for my non pickup acoustics etc. Before using these Peterson tuners I would have said they seemed a bit pricey 'for a tuner' BUT Now, I guarantee they are well worth the investment, and ALL of my guitars tunings now ring with great harmonics, even the triads are alive! and its even harder now to put them down to eat! Haha, I've lost a stone in 2 months, so there is health benefits too! Haha! Amazingly Pro tuning, Intonation, resonance and harmonics. YES PLEASE Peterson. 5Stars***** thanks.

Had three TC electronic poly/uni-tune tuners - lost one, another not working, last one my son had left at school and I had a weekend of gigs. Had a Peterson Stroboclip in the past and it was great but .expensive. Was gonna buy two more TC electronics Unitune tuners but couldn’t find any online - so decided to go for this new Peterson Stroboclip HD. Absolutely fab, and reads the 6th string like s pro, on all my guitars, when the Polytune doesn’t always manage (mainly the 6th string). So, with my new Stroboclip HD in hand, I felt brave enough to tackle re-stringing my baritone (26 3/8” scale length) 12-string Fraulini Angelina acoustic today. I tune it down to the A below the usual guitar E, and it sounds awesome ! With strings (6th course to 1st course) : .028w/.067w, .024w/.047w, ..017p/.041w, .014p/.029w, 0.20p/.020p, .015p/.015p Well, the Stroboclip HD not only handled EVERY string like a pro, tuning up, even the “pylon” of a .067w 6th course string was detected it’s low A right away. No need to play the harmonic at the 12th fret, like many lesser tuners ! It was actually a please to spend over an hour restringing my long-scale 12-string. Re-steinging these “wardrobe-with-strings-on” guitars is uually a reql chore / but not now !! Lesson learnt ! I’ll stick to Peterson Stroboclip HD tuners from now on!

A good way to finely tune your guitar. I personally think its worth the extra over a cheap tuner. Some good extra features.

Great tuner.Very accurate and the sweetened tunings get you closer to perfection than an ordinary tuner. Software is a bit fiddly but it works fine.
