The ESP LTD Alexi-200 Black is a great entry level into heavy metal noodling. With it's sleek V shape, finished in gloss black and evil sawtooth inlays this guitar not only looks like it could hurt you, but it probably can if used incorrectly and it sounds monstrous. With the one, high output LH-301 passive pickup in the bridge, it's buzzsaw-like cut will sound great when the gain is turned up. Coupled with a Floyd Rose Special trem and unlacquered, maple neck, it's a shredders dream.

Comfortable, Slim Neck

The Alexi 200's thin U shape neck is comfortable, but not so thin that you're left looking for more to grasp on to. Somewhat of a classic feature to ESP guitars, it will satisfy both the guitarist new to the brand or someone who is well accustomed to the sleek neck shape.
