Extended Range
Being an 8 string with an extended range, this ESP LTD EC-258 has a scale length of 26.5". This gives it the appropriate amount of tension required for the lower tuning that goes all the way down to F#.
ESP Designed Pickups
Making sure you get the most out of this 8 string axe, the ESP Designed LH-308 set of pickups capture the full tonal range of the guitar with excellent levels of sonic detail.
Slim, Fast Neck Profile
The Eclipse's Thin U shaped neck is slender, but not so thin that it feels like there's no support. Somewhat a classic feature to ESP guitars, it will satisfy both the guitarist new to the brand or someone who is well accustomed to the sleek neck shape. It is appreciated even more here with it being an 8 string model, making it very comfortable even with the extra bit of width.
