All my basses (like a lot of players I have a few) when new, are fitted with Schaller strap locks to standardise and save time swapping when on gigs. Found these to be well engineered and very secure.

I always have these attached to my guitar. I'm not sure if I want to fit these to my new guitar, or take it into the guitarguitar store here in Glasgow and get them to fit it. Either way an essential bit of kit and cheap for the quality.
