Wow, this is a very cool Schecter! This C-1 has gone for an understated, natural look with a prime Koa top and some lovely details like block inlays to make an instrument that is elegant and powerful.
The main construction is Mahogany, used here for the body and set neck. The Koa top is arched in true C1 fashion and the overall effect is pleasingly chunky and rustic.
The neck has an Ebony fingerboard with Mother of Pearl block inlays. Not only does this really add to the look, it provides an excellent playing surface, particularly since the radius is a flat 14” and the two octaves of frets are Extra Jumbo for extremely easy soloing.
A pair of USA made Schecter San Andreas pickups deal out a plethora of tones suitable for rock, metal, jazz and blues. These hand wound units have been made hot, with the bridge unit running at over 13k ohms! Yowser! Rocking out is a real pleasure on this guitar and the TonePros TOM bridge gives this guitar a solid, anchored feel for powerful playing.
This is a superlative rock guitar with a rare and beautiful look that’s understated and classic.
