Santana S Pickups
Designed to meet Carlos Santana's needs and capture his signature tone, these pickups maintain a strong bass presence in any position. PRS have managed to keep the tone in all positions warm without the bass getting in the way. The Santana S pickups sound great clean but if you're anything like Carlos you'll love them when the gain is poured on.
Wide Fat Neck
A slightly more traditional feeling neck, the wide fat neck gives you something substantial to hold on to. Not overly thick that it feels uncomfortable you can still easily make your way up and down the neck.
24.5" Scale
Just like the higher end model the Santana SE features a 24.5" scale. This is a great key to capturing that warm Santana tone, and providing a smooth bassy response through the pickups. It also gives the strings a slinkier feel which can be great when you're playing through those sizzling licks.
