What we say:

At A Glance:

Does the smaller shred fan in your life need a new axe? Let them unleash the fury on this fun downsized Ibanez based on Paul Gilbert’s signature guitars. This is part of the Mikro range from Ibanez, using a smaller scale length to make things more manageable for smaller fingers. Build wise it is all quality here: the maple neck has a fast, smooth feel and medium frets. The headstock is painted white to match the body, which has Gilbert’s trademark fake f-holes as part of the finish. A pair of ceramic magnet Infinity pickups supply a raunchy and hot sound to satisfy the most aggressive of rock styles. Adults will certainly find a lot of joy in this too. It’s big enough to work well as a travel guitar with a good feel and great sound.

Features We Love:

Dual Humbuckers

The pair of Infinity R pickups give you all the big rock tones you need. They are great all-round humbuckers with tones ranging from blues to pop and everything in between.

Unique Looks

Part of the Gilbert look, the fake f-holes give a classic look to this modern axe. Since they are merely painted on, it adds a traditional style while still maintaining all the benefits of a solid body electric.

Easy To Play

The smaller 22.2" scale length is a great feature, making this distinctive model great for younger players or those who prefer smaller guitars. Small fingers will have an easier time finding their way around the 24 frets.

Highlights:

  • Great for younger players or as a travel guitar
  • Big rock tones but able to do much more
  • Extremely good value for money

Fast neck. Needed intonation and a bit of setup but the lads in Camden sorted that out in the shop. ????
