This handsome open-pore finish junior/travel-sized dreadnought forms a part of Ibanez’s Artwood range. Offering up good looking rustic instruments with Solid tops and easy playability, the AW range has taken off in a big way, especially when they are priced so competitively.
This model, the AW54JR, is a smaller-sized Dreadnought suitable for carrying around anywhere or for younger/smaller players who find a full-sized dreadnought to be a bit too much to get to grips with. This body shape is more than suitable to deliver a sound that has body, percussion and sparkle. The solid Mahogany top adds mid-range clarity and note separation to deliver a rich and nuanced sound.
Anybody can get along with this charming and eminently playable guitar.
